Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer specializing in IT Operations Management (ITOM) with strong expertise in CMDB and Discovery. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation experience, including solution design, delivery, and pre-sales support — particularly within the financial services sector.

This role requires deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM modules, integrations, and infrastructure monitoring, along with strong stakeholder communication skills.

Required Certifications

• ✅ ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory

• ✅ ServiceNow ITOM Certification (Discovery / Event Management preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and customization of ServiceNow ITOM solutions

• Configure and optimize:

  • CMDB

  • Discovery

  • Event Management

  • Service Mapping

• Develop and customize reports and dashboards

• Participate in pre-sales activities:

  • Client discussions

  • Requirements gathering

  • Solution proposals

  • Effort estimation

• Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with third-party tools and databases

• Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations

• Provide post-implementation support and performance optimization

• Train internal teams and clients on ITOM best practices

• Stay current with ServiceNow releases and enhancements

Technical Requirements

ServiceNow Expertise

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development

• Strong experience with:

  • ITOM

  • CMDB

  • Discovery

  • Event Correlation

• Experience with core modules such as:

  • ITSM

  • ITOM

  • HRSD (nice to have)

• Proficient in:

  • JavaScript

  • ServiceNow APIs

  • ACLs

  • Data modeling

  • Platform security

Infrastructure & Monitoring

• Experience with:

  • Windows / Linux servers

  • Network infrastructure

  • AWS / Azure environments

• Cloud monitoring tools:

  • AWS CloudWatch

  • Azure Monitor

• Container environments:

  • Kubernetes

  • Docker

ITOM & Monitoring Tools (Nice to Have)
