That's why we need you, a seasoned network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the DoD needs.
As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in planning and incorporating how new network resources and applications exist on the network to support the nation's defense and resp ond to evolving adversaries. You'll upgrade or develop enterprise-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, analyze current working infrastructures, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You'll apply your expertise in supporting internetworking service requirements for switched networks, and design and implement network systems and subsystems, and asso cia ted hardware and sof tware. Guide our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.
Your knowledge of network planning, engineering, and architecture will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. You'll serve as a t rus ted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions.

You Have: - 6+ years of experience supporting internetworking service requirements for switched networks
- 6+ years of experience designing and implementing network systems and subsystems, and asso cia ted hardware and sof tware
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Electronics Engineering, or an Engineering field
Nice If You Have: - Experience providing technical assistance in network planning, engineering, and architecture
- Experience developing technical standards and interface applications
- Experience identifying and evaluating new products
- Experience providing solutions for network problems
- Experience planning and incorporating how new network resources and applications exist on the network
- Experience using network management tools to discover, map, and maintain the network, c ond uct research of new technologies and implementation strategies, monitor and maintain network interfaces to ensure the highest level of performance, and make modifications and enhancements as needed
- Experience documenting procedures, creating network diagrams, and keeping related material up to date
- Ability to obtain a TS / SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
