Required Qualifications

• Proven experience launching and implementing IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.0, with a strong understanding of implementation runbooks, best practices, and effective use of Maximo features.
• Extensive experience with Maximo/MAS 9.0 administrative functions.
• Ability to train and guide local DENSO, MSR (Mexico Sub Region), and NSR (North Sub Region) resources on Maximo administrative functions.
• Ability to support North American locations across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, including Eastern, Central, and Mountain Time Zones.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibility Summary

Pre-Migration

• Asset and Data Inventory: Identify configurations, customizations, workflows, integrations, and data objects required for migration.
• System Validation: Ensure the source Maximo instance meets IBM and business requirements, including supported versions, database readiness, and regional compliance.
• Environment Preparation: Coordinate contracts, licensing, infrastructure, and connectivity provisioning across regions.
• Migration Planning: Document migration steps, timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation; communicate plans with relevant teams.
• Security & Compliance Review: Address business, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with IT, Maximo Regional Leads, IBM, and cloud service providers to coordinate and provision required resources.

Migration

• Data Export and Validation: Supervise database exports and customization archive creation, ensuring all required files are accessible and validated.
• Automation Setup: Deploy MAS using operators, custom resources, and automated scripts for each region.
• Migration Oversight: Monitor migration progress, resolve issues, track changes, and report exceptions.
• Testing and Certification: Lead user acceptance, workflow, reporting, and integration testing for migrated regions.
• Documentation & Support: Document migration procedures, train users, and provide support during cutover to the new MAS environment.
• Security & License Review: Confirm security, disaster recovery, and licensing settings following migration.

Go-Live and Stabilization

• System Health and Maintenance: Review Maximo logs, cron tasks, and integration queues for failures or delays. Monitor integration points and reprocess failed transactions when necessary. Perform database health checks, including index maintenance and query monitoring, to ensure job plans, PMs, and work orders run efficiently.
• User and Access Management: Add or modify user accounts and roles as staff or contractors change. Audit user group memberships to ensure proper segregation of duties. Review login exceptions and troubleshoot region-specific authentication issues.
• Data and Configuration Validation: Run data integrity reports on work orders, assets, and inventory to identify duplicate or orphaned records. Validate weekly Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Job Plan schedules against actual capacity using Graphical Work Week and Graphical Scheduling Dashboard. Adjust allocations or schedules when resource load balancing identifies upcoming conflicts.
• Reporting and Performance Review: Review weekly KPIs for work order throughput, SLA compliance, and backlog aging. Generate scheduled reports and dashboards for reliability and maintenance teams. Summarize findings in a weekly report shared with the Regional Operations Manager and Corporate EAM Lead.

Post-Migration Support

• Address post-migration issues and ensure ongoing system stability.
• Continuously monitor system performance, availability, and health to proactively identify and resolve issues and prevent downtime.
• Provide ongoing support and training to end users, troubleshoot problems, and help users maximize the capabilities of Maximo.
• Analyze system usage and user feedback to implement improvements, optimize workflows, and enhance the overall user experience.
• Manage and update system configurations, automation scripts, workflows, and integrations to support evolving business requirements.
• Ensure data integrity through regular data audits and database performance optimization.
• Leverage AI and predictive analytics capabilities within Maximo to improve maintenance strategies and asset management effectiveness.
• Maintain security settings and access controls and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and fixes to keep Maximo current, secure, and supported.
• Collaborate with NAITS/NAITDC teams, business units, and external vendors to align Maximo capabilities with organizational goals and technology strategies.
