job summary:
We are seeking a Senior .NET Software Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of complex web-based applications in a structured enterprise environment. This role requires strong full-stack experience with C#, .NET, MVC, SQL Server, and modern DevOps practices, along with hands-on API and automation experience.
This is a 100% onsite position in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate is a senior-level developer who can work independently, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in an Agile environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance complex web-based and client/server applications using C#, .NET, MVC, Blazor, and SQL Server
- Build and maintain front-end and back-end components using HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and ASP.NET
- Develop and automate APIs, web services, and application processes to improve performance and reliability
- Write, test, debug, and document high-quality, maintainable code
- Support production applications by diagnosing issues, implementing fixes, and maintaining system stability
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, development, and delivery
- Recommend improvements, identify risks, and help drive best practices in application development
- Perform other duties as assigned
qualifications:
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in senior-level software development and web application programming
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, MVC, and SQL Server
- Proven experience building and supporting web-based and Windows-based applications
- Solid front-end development experience with HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience developing and automating APIs and web services
- 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps and AWS DevOps (CI/CD pipelines preferred)
- 5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting production applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Must be able to work onsite in Austin, TX
- Experience with the Texas Automated Nutrition System (TANS) required
Preferred (not required):
- Experience with the Orchard application (OSSE)
- Experience with ASP.NET Blazor
- Prior experience working within a state government environment
