Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a highly technical infrastructure team supporting enterprise, data center, cloud, and remote-site networking environments. This is a hands-on engineering role for a true networking expert who can design, troubleshoot, and optimize complex routing and switching infrastructures while supporting approximately 50 remote locations.
The team already has dedicated wireless and security specialists in place. The primary need is an expert-level routing engineer who can lead network design initiatives, solve complex routing challenges, and help evolve the organization's cloud-connected network architecture.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across data center, cloud, and remote-site environments
Lead routing and switching architecture, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts
Design scalable and resilient network solutions utilizing modern routing technologies
Support hybrid cloud networking initiatives, with a strong focus on AWS connectivity
Configure, maintain, and optimize Arista network environments
Manage and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewall infrastructure
Implement network automation and operational efficiencies using Python and related tools
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams on network transformation projects
Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex network performance issues
Support network monitoring, capacity planning, documentation, and operational best practices

Required Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
Expert-level knowledge of routing technologies, particularly BGP (border gateway protocal)
Strong experience with EVPN-VXLAN architectures
Deep expertise with Arista switching platforms
Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls
Experience designing and supporting cloud-connected networks, particularly AWS networking
Advanced troubleshooting skills across enterprise and data center environments
Experience with network automation using Python or similar scripting languages
Strong understanding of OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking concepts
Ability to design and troubleshoot large-scale routing and switching environments
