Back-End Developer

Introduction:

We are looking for a Back-End Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and application architecture that power web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will work on building and managing APIs and services that facilitate communication between the front end and the server, ensuring seamless data exchange and application functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and efficient server-side code using languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, PHP, Ruby, etc.
• Manage databases including MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc., ensuring proper data modeling, indexing, and query optimization for performance.
• Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, cloud services, and external APIs into applications.
• Implement security best practices to protect applications against vulnerabilities and ensure secure authentication mechanisms.
• Optimize application performance by improving server response times, managing caching strategies, and ensuring scalability.
• Handle error logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting production issues to maintain system reliability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and product managers to deliver high-performing applications.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and work with cloud platforms for hosting and infrastructure management.
• Maintain documentation, write unit and integration tests, refactor legacy systems, and stay updated on new backend technologies.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Experience with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, PHP, etc.
• Strong knowledge of database systems like MySQL, MongoDB, SQL, etc.
• Understanding of software architecture principles and best practices

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Data Modeling and Data Processing
• Familiarity with Mobile Applications development
• Knowledge of Git for version control
