Job Description
We are seeking an Applied AI Developer to join a high-impact Enterprise AI team focused on building and scaling AI-driven solutions across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, applied AI, and distributed systems, where you will help identify real-world use cases for AI and deliver production-ready solutions that drive measurable business impact.

In this role, you will stay hands-on—designing, prototyping, and deploying modern AI systems including LLM orchestration, agent-based workflows, and evaluation frameworks. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, security, and operations teams to translate AI opportunities into scalable, end-to-end systems. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies while helping shape how AI is adopted across a large enterprise environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design and build production-grade AI systems, including multi-agent and agentic workflows
Evaluate and implement modern AI frameworks, tools, and orchestration patterns
Develop evaluation, testing, and monitoring frameworks for AI system performance
Build scalable backend systems to support AI-driven applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions
Define and implement AI governance practices, including guardrails and data lineage
Drive AI adoption through pilots, proof-of-concepts, and production deployments
Integrate AI systems with enterprise APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure
Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of AI systems at scale

Required Experience / Skills

5+ years of professional software engineering experience
2+ years of hands-on experience building applied AI systems in production environments
Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go (comfortable with both)
Experience building and scaling LLM-based or agent-driven systems (not just simple API usage)
Hands-on experience with modern AI ecosystems (e.g., LangGraph, agent frameworks, LLM SDKs)
Strong backend engineering and system design fundamentals
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP)
Experience working with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and authentication models (OAuth2, RBAC, etc.)
Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with AI evaluation and observability tools (LangSmith, Langfuse, Braintrust, etc.)
Experience building or integrating MCP (Model Context Protocol) systems
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with RAG architectures and vector databases
Experience optimizing inference cost and scaling AI systems
Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.)

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Pay & Benefits Summary

Pay Rate: $75.00/hr (W2)
