Travel Data Center Tech

Description

This role requires 75% nationwide travel with 25% work in the technician's home market.
A dedicated Team of Level 2 Data Center Technicians is being assembled to support Google's Hi-Fiber initiative. This project focuses on upgrading existing coax infrastructure to fiber at Google data center locations.
Technicians on this team will be the first onsite at new Google locations, responsible for establishing workflows, processes, and procedures during the initial 6-8 weeks of each deployment. Once a project is stabilized, the team will transition to the next site to repeat the process. During gaps between projects, technicians will work at Google data centers within their home market.
This role is ideal for experienced data center technicians who can step in immediately and operate independently from day one. Over time, entry-level technicians will be added to support long-term project completion.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
