SAP MM LEAD (S2S)

Position: SAP MM LEAD (S2S)

Location: Fremont, CA (Every Alternate week travel is mandatory)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Design:

• Partner with client functional SMEs and business stakeholders to understand procurement and materials management business processes and requirements.
• Lead workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and fit-gap analysis for Source to Settle processes.
• Design SAP MM solutions aligned to business requirements, SAP best practices, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Enterprise Roadmap & Stabilization: Assume ownership of the global transition blueprint aligning disparate workstreams to ensure a seamless cutover from legacy ECC MM to S/4HANA.
• PLM to ERP Engineering: Validate and refine real-time integration loops with enterprise PLM platforms, Siemens Teamcenter, to seamlessly synchronize Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering change orders (ECOs), and material master data into S/4HANA MM.
• Shop Floor & MES Syncing: Drive the delivery of high-velocity, low-latency integration architectures linking S/4HANA MM/PP with Shop Floor MES platforms, Mendix and Kinaxsis, for real-time inventory consumption, serial number tracking, and WIP visibility.
• Master Data & Governance Recovery: Audit and direct the architectural strategy for converting legacy ECC vendor and customer records into the unified S/4HANA Business Partner (BP) model, enforcing strict data governance across all PLM, ERP, and MES touchpoints.
• Configure SAP MM functionalities including:

o   Procurement

o   Purchase Requisitions

o   Purchase Orders

o   Inventory Management

o   Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt

o   Vendor Master Management

o   Valuation and Account Determination

o   Release Strategies

o   Service Procurement

• Support integration design across SAP modules, including:

o   SAP S/4HANA

o   SAP Ariba

o   SAP SD

o   SAP FI/CO

o   SAP WM/EWM

o   SAP PP

• Support integration design across other applications, including:

o   PLM - TeamCenter

o   MES - OpsCenter / Mendix

Functional Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and implementation.
• Deep understanding of Source to Settle / Procure to Pay (P2P) business processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement capabilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management and materials valuation processes.
• Experience with release strategies, pricing procedures, and account determination.
• Understanding of procurement analytics and reporting.

Integration Knowledge

• Strong understanding of SAP MM integration with:

o   SAP FI/CO

o   SAP SD

o   SAP PP

o   SAP WM/EWM

o   SAP Ariba

• Experience with IDocs, APIs, and interface coordination is preferred.

Consulting and Delivery Skills

• Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and drive requirement discussions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience preparing functional specifications and process documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global delivery environments.

Technical and Tools Proficiency

• SAP S/4HANA
• SAP MM Configuration
• SAP Fiori Applications
• Azure DevOps (ADO)
• HP ALM, JIRA, or similar testing and delivery tools
• Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP MM Certification preferred.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Experience in Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Exposure to PLM and MES is highly desirable
• Domain expert in Semiconductor Industry a highly desirable
