Summary

Introduction:

This position is for a Network IP Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OSPF, GBP, MPLS, IP, TCP, UDP, and routing protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network solutions using OSPF, GBP, MPLS, IP, TCP, UDP, and other routing protocols
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network stability and security
  • Document network configurations and changes
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Experience with OSPF, GBP, MPLS, IP, TCP, UDP, and routing protocols
  • Strong understanding of LAN protocols such as STP, RSTP, 802.1x, ISL, HSRP, VRRP, and MC-LAG
  • Knowledge of security protocols including IP Sec VPNs and Firewalls
  • Experience with voice migration expertise, specifically SIP/Legacy

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Alcatel Lucent, Cisco, Fortinet, ADVA, and Juniper networking equipment
  • Certifications in relevant technologies
