Data Migration with D365

Role: Data Migration / ETL Lead (D365 ERP Projects)

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration / ETL Lead with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP implementations, data transformation, and large-scale migration programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in government and/or healthcare sector implementations, with the ability to manage complex data migration activities across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead end-to-end data migration activities for D365 ERP implementation projects.

·        Design, develop, and execute ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.

·        Analyze legacy system data and define migration strategies, mapping documents, and cleansing rules.

·        Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure accurate data conversion.

·        Manage data quality, reconciliation, validation, and post-migration support activities.

·        Coordinate mock migrations, cutover planning, and production migration execution.

·        Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements, especially within government and healthcare environments.

·        Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize ETL performance.

·        Prepare migration status reports, risk assessments, and project documentation.

·        Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production validation.

Required Qualifications

·        10–12 years of overall IT experience.

·        Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Data Migration and ETL development.

·        3–5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) / ERP migration projects.

·        Strong expertise in ETL tools, SQL, data mapping, transformation, and validation processes.

·        Experience working with large enterprise datasets and multiple source systems.

·        Proven experience in Government and/or Healthcare implementation projects.

·        Strong understanding of ERP data entities, integrations, and migration frameworks.

·        Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

·        Ability to work independently and manage multiple migration workstreams.

Preferred Skills

·        Experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, KingswaySoft, or similar ETL tools.

·        Knowledge of D365 Finance & Operations (FnO) and/or Customer Engagement (CE).

·        Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards in healthcare/government sectors.

·        Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Education

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

·        Relevant Microsoft or ETL certifications are a plus.
