Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced GlobalScape EFT (Enhanced File Transfer) Developer to design, develop, secure, and support enterprise-grade Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Advanced Workflow Engine (AWE) development, secure file transfer protocols, DMZ Gateway configuration, high availability architecture, and enterprise security standards.

This role will collaborate closely with Networking, Firewall, Load Balancer, Security (Zscaler), and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and auditable customer-facing file transfer solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workflow Design & Development (AWE)

• Develop modular and scalable EFT workflows using Advanced Workflow Engine (AWE).
• Implement conditional logic, parallel processing, retries/backoff, SLA timers, and automated notifications.
• Design workflows handling multiple file inputs and fan-out distribution to vendors with consolidated acknowledgment files.
• Perform validations, PGP encryption/decryption, compression/uncompression, and archival processes.

2. Platform Configuration & Administration

• Configure EFT Sites, Users/Groups, virtual folders, and connection profiles (SFTP/HTTPS/Workspaces).
• Manage DMZ Gateway setup, clustering, high availability, and cross-data center redundancy.
• Administer TLS/PKI certificates, SSH keys, PGP encryption keys, cipher policies, mTLS, and audit logging.
• Implement IP restrictions and secure configuration standards.

3. Networking & Load Balancing

• Collaborate with networking teams for SSL passthrough/offload configurations.
• Work with F5 BIG-IP (LTM) for persistence, health monitors, SNAT, and iRules.
• Troubleshoot firewall rules, NAT, routing, DNS, Zscaler proxies, and connectivity issues.
• Drive root cause analysis and permanent resolution for intermittent transfer failures.

4. Integration & Automation

• Integrate EFT with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and SQL Server databases.
• Automate deployments and processes using PowerShell scripting.
• Support integrations with ServiceNow and other enterprise tools.

5. Operational Excellence

• Develop architecture diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and operational documentation.
• Define KPIs and SLAs; implement monitoring, alerting, and health checks.
• Lead vendor onboarding activities including requirement gathering, testing, UAT, and production cutover.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL change management processes.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with GlobalScape EFT including AWE, Workspaces, and DMZ Gateway.
• Strong expertise in SFTP, HTTPS, SSH key management, TLS/PKI, and PGP encryption.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML integrations.
• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, firewalls, proxies such as Zscaler).
• Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM) including SSL bridging/passthrough and health monitors.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, auditing, and compliance (SOX knowledge preferred).
• Experience with environment promotion, change management (ServiceNow/ITIL).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other MFT platforms (IBM Sterling, GoAnywhere, MOVEit).
• Cloud integrations (Azure/AWS), private endpoints, Key Vault/CyberArk.
• AD/LDAP integration, MFA/SSO implementation.
• Performance tuning and capacity planning for high-volume file transfers.
• Experience in migration or consolidation projects across MFT platforms.
