We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead enterprise-scale data modernization and cloud transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS cloud services, Snowflake architecture, enterprise data platforms, data governance, and modern data engineering frameworks. This role will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data ecosystems that support analytics, AI/ML, and business-critical reporting across the organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and executive leadership to define data strategies, establish governance frameworks, and architect next-generation cloud-based data platforms.

Ideal Candidate

A strategic Enterprise Data Architect who can successfully lead large-scale cloud data transformation initiatives, establish enterprise data governance standards, and build scalable Snowflake and AWS-based data platforms that enable analytics, AI, and business growth across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture strategies leveraging Snowflake and AWS cloud services.
  • Lead large-scale data modernization and cloud migration initiatives from legacy platforms to modern cloud-native architectures.
  • Architect scalable and secure data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse solutions.
  • Define enterprise data models, metadata management, master data management (MDM), and governance standards.
  • Develop data integration frameworks using AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Kinesis, Redshift, and Athena.
  • Design and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using dbt, Airflow, Python, and SQL.
  • Establish data quality, lineage, cataloging, and governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity.
  • Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, AI/ML, and Business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Drive performance tuning, workload optimization, and cost management across Snowflake and AWS environments.
  • Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and best practices for cloud data platforms.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve enterprise data capabilities.
  • Support enterprise reporting, analytics, AI/ML, and real-time data processing initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • 15+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, and Enterprise Data Management.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake Data Cloud Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services:
    • S3
    • Glue
    • EMR
    • Lambda
    • Kinesis
    • Athena
    • IAM
    • CloudWatch
    • Redshift (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Airflow for workflow orchestration.
  • Expertise in dbt for modern ELT development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering frameworks.
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale Data Lakes, Lakehouses, and Data Warehouses.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
  • Knowledge of streaming and real-time data architectures.

Architecture & Leadership

  • Proven experience leading enterprise cloud transformation programs.
  • Expertise in defining enterprise data strategy and architecture roadmaps.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring data architects, engineers, and technical teams.
  • Ability to drive architectural decisions and governance standards across large organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems.
  • Exposure to Databricks, Spark, or lakehouse architectures.
  • Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, or Fortune 500 environments.
  • Knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
  • AWS and Snowflake certifications highly preferred.

  • Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect
  • TOGAF Certification
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
