Job Description: Oracle APEX & Forms Developer
Location: Remote (Onsite visit required at the start and end of the contract for equipment inventory)
Duration: 11/09/2026 – 06/30/2027
Work Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (7.5 hours/day, Monday–Friday)
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and migrate legacy Oracle Forms applications to Oracle APEX.
Develop APEX user interfaces and establish UI/UX standards.
Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and advanced queries.
Perform data analysis, reporting, debugging, and performance tuning.
Implement application security, roles, and authorization models.
Integrate web services and support application enhancements.
Participate in requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Prepare technical and functional documentation.
Support release management, production deployments, and knowledge transfer.
Provide weekly status updates and management reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience, including procedures, functions, packages, and advanced queries.
Minimum 5 years of Oracle APEX application development experience.
Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, preferably Oracle 19c.
Experience with SQL Developer and/or TOAD.
Understanding of data modeling principles.
Experience integrating web services.
Experience with SQL performance tuning, debugging, and testing in Oracle and SQL Server.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience modernizing legacy Oracle Forms applications.
Prior Pennsylvania Commonwealth or environmental systems experience.
Knowledge of XML, HTML, Java, PL/SQL APIs, and SOA architecture.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience supporting regulatory or mission-critical applications.
Strong technical and functional documentation skills.
