Summary

Location: Feasterville, PA Salary: $120,000.00 USD Annually - $180,000.00 USD Annually Description:
Senior Electronics Engineer

We're looking for a hands-on Principal Power Electronics Engineer with deep experience designing and delivering multi-kilowatt AC/DC and bidirectional power-conversion systems. This role is ideal for someone who loves building real hardware, debugging at the bench, and owning designs from concept through production and field performance.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the full design cycle: topology schematic PCB prototype production field support
  • Develop high-power inverter/charger and battery-interfaced converters (up to 480 VDC / 400 ADC)
  • Design and test custom magnetics (HF ferrite & LF laminated)
  • Write and debug embedded control firmware (Microchip PIC / dsPIC)
  • Drive bench bring-up, fault isolation, validation, and compliance support
  • Produce test procedures, design specs, and manufacturing documentation

What You Bring
  • 10-20 years of hands-on power-electronics product development
  • Strong background in AC/DC conversion, bidirectional topologies, and multi-kilowatt systems
  • Experience with 120-575 VAC, high-voltage DC buses, and high-current designs
  • Practical knowledge of full-bridge, flyback, buck, boost, and resonant topologies
  • Magnetics design experience and deep understanding of passive components
  • Battery-system integration (Li-ion, LFP, lead-acid) and BMS familiarity
  • High-voltage DC safety, isolation, and pre-charge circuits
  • High-power PCB layout experience (must have personally laid out boards)
  • Embedded C or assembly for real-time power-control firmware
  • Strong bench-debugging skills with scopes, DVMs, and SPICE tools
  • Ability to clearly articulate products you personally designed and shipped

Who Thrives Here
  • Engineers who like to build, not just simulate
  • Tinkerers who take things apart to understand them
  • Well-rounded problem-solvers with mechanical intuition
  • Candidates from UPS, high-power AC/DC, DC supply, or energy-conversion industries
