Job Overview:
Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Active Epic Bridges Certification.
- Strong knowledge of HL7 v2 messaging (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, etc.).
- Experience with FHIR APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Knowledge of healthcare workflows and EHR/EMR integrations.
- Experience in interface troubleshooting, message validation, and production support.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, configure, and maintain Epic Bridges interfaces.
- Develop and support HL7 v2, FHIR, and web service integrations between Epic and third-party applications.
- Perform interface analysis, data mapping, workflow validation, and end-to-end testing.
- Monitor interface queues, diagnose failures, and resolve integration-related incidents within SLA.
- Collaborate with Epic application teams, integration teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Support production deployments, upgrades, monthly releases, and system enhancements.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Create and maintain interface specifications, workflow diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Participate in on-call support for critical production issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards and organizational security requirements.
