Job Title : Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer

Location : Pleasanton, CA (Onsite)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Google Cloud Platform Engineer who is a hands-on developer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform and modern data engineering practices. The role requires working onsite from Pleasanton and contributing to the design, development, deployment, and optimization of cloud-based data solutions.
Key Responsibilities-

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Work hands-on with BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics use cases
• Develop and manage relational workloads using AlloyDB
• Build and maintain data transformation pipelines using DBT
• Orchestrate workflows using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow)
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and cloud workloads
• Write efficient SQL queries for data modelling, transformation, and reporting
• Follow modern development practices including vibe coding and clean code standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions
• Ensure performance, security, scalability, and reliability of Google Cloud Platform solutions

Mandatory Technical Skills-

• Strong foundation experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Advanced SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery
• Experience working with AlloyDB
• Strong experience in DBT
• Workflow orchestration using Composer (Airflow)
• Infrastructure automation using Terraform
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to vibe coding and modern development practices

Additional Requirements-

• Must be a hands-on developer (no pure coordination roles)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
