Position Title: Analyst Technical Writer

Pay Rate: $33/hr - $35/hr on W2
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst Technical Writer to create, maintain, and elevate high-quality technical documentation that supports developers, internal teams, and business stakeholders. This role partners closely with engineering and architecture teams to translate complex technical systems into clear, accurate, and consumable content.
The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of modern software development, cloud-native architectures, and documentation best practices, along with the ability to influence documentation standards across teams. This is a great opportunity for a technical writer who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, systems analysis, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and standardize technical documentation, including:
- Architecture and system design overviews
- API, integration, and developer guides
- User and customer-facing documentation
- Internal engineering and operational runbooks
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content
- Partner with engineering leaders to document designs, workflows, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
- Review, edit, and improve documentation authored by engineering teams
- Ensure documentation aligns with governance, compliance, and organizational standards
- Maintain documentation repositories, version control, and content lifecycle practices
- Continuously improve documentation quality, structure, and accessibility
Required Skills / Education:
- 3 6 years of experience in technical writing, systems analysis, or a related role
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and cloud-native systems
- Ability to read and interpret source code, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications
- Excellent written communication, editing, and content organization skills
- Hands-on experience with documentation tools and platforms such as:
- Markdown
- GitHub or Git-based repositories
- Confluence or similar knowledge management tools
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and consistency
