Contract: 12 Months with Possible Extension

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Director Data to lead the client's enterprise data organization and oversee a broad portfolio of data programs, data modernization, enterprise analytics, and data technology initiatives.

This is a senior leadership role requiring the ability to operate across multiple business functions, complex data environments, and multiple technology vendors. The Technical Director will provide strategic direction, technical leadership, and delivery oversight while partnering closely with business and technology leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise Data organization and portfolio across multiple business functions and data programs.
• Drive data modernization and transformation initiatives across platforms, architecture, integration, and analytics.
• Provide technical leadership across a diverse portfolio of enterprise data and analytics programs.
• Manage and coordinate multiple technology vendors, partners, and delivery teams.
• Provide enterprise-level direction across data architecture, platforms, integration, governance, quality, and analytics.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to translate business priorities into scalable data solutions.
• Drive standardization, modernization, and simplification across the enterprise data landscape.
• Evaluate emerging data and AI technologies and identify opportunities for business value.
• Lead, mentor, and develop data and analytics teams and strengthen technical capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, Technology, or related fields, with significant leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading enterprise data organizations or large-scale data portfolios.
• Experience managing multiple business functions, complex data programs, and multiple technology vendors.
• Strong background in data modernization, enterprise analytics, data platforms, and data technologies.
• High-level understanding of enterprise data architecture, cloud platforms, data integration, analytics, governance, and security.
• Proven experience leading large-scale technology transformation and modernization programs.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and technical levels and communicate effectively with executive, business, and technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, vendor management, program management, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a global, multi-business enterprise.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms, including Google Cloud Platform.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, and emerging data technologies.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
