Title – SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L)

Location – Sunnyvale, CA  - 100% onsite

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L) Consultant with strong SAP Transportation Management (TM) and supply chain expertise. The consultant will lead BN4L solution design, implementation, integration, and logistics collaboration initiatives, working closely with SAP TM, S/4HANA, and integration teams.

Key Responsibilities

SAP BN4L Solution Leadership

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP Business Network for Logistics capabilities.
• Drive carrier onboarding, collaboration, freight tendering, and tender response management.
• Implement freight order collaboration, shipment tracking, transportation visibility, and event collaboration.
• Support digital Proof of Delivery (POD) and transportation document collaboration.
• Manage carrier communication, exception handling, and BN4L adoption/governance.

SAP TM Integration & Process Enablement

• Partner with SAP TM architects and functional teams across:
  • Transportation Order Management
  • Freight Unit Building
  • Transportation Planning
  • Carrier Selection
  • Freight Order Lifecycle Management
  • Transportation Execution
  • Freight Settlement
  • Transportation Charge Management

Logistics Visibility & Collaboration

• Design and support real-time shipment tracking and ETA visibility.
• Implement transportation milestone monitoring and event management.
• Enable carrier status updates and freight document exchange.
• Support POD workflows and transportation control tower capabilities.

Integration & Connectivity

• Collaborate with integration teams on SAP TM ↔ BN4L integration.
• Support SAP S/4HANA ↔ SAP TM ↔ BN4L integration scenarios.
• Work with SAP BTP Integration Suite for connectivity and integration.
• Support API-based carrier integrations and EDI connectivity.
• Contribute to event-driven logistics integration architecture.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP Supply Chain and Logistics experience.
• 5+ years of SAP TM implementation experience.
• 3+ years of SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L) experience.
• At least 2 end-to-end SAP TM implementations.
• At least 1 SAP BN4L implementation or rollout.
• Experience with greenfield SAP logistics transformation programs.
