Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with 12+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python development, API design, cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and database management. The candidate should be capable of leading development efforts, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Python applications.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Python frameworks.
• Develop robust backend services and integrate with third-party systems.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Implement security, logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to all phases of the SDLC.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming expertise in Python.
• Extensive experience with:
  • Django
  • Flask
  • FastAPI
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • Oracle
• Experience with NoSQL databases:
  • MongoDB
  • DynamoDB
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or SQS.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.

Cloud & DevOps Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Jenkins
  • GitHub Actions
  • CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform is a plus).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data engineering and ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration and Python-based automation.
• Experience working with Apache Spark or big data technologies.
• Familiarity with GraphQL APIs.
• Experience in financial, healthcare, or enterprise domains.
