Job Title: Senior Node.js Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking highly experienced Senior Node.js Developers with strong backend engineering expertise to join our team supporting a leading retail client. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on coding experience and a strong background in building scalable, high-performance applications using modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with strong emphasis on performance and reliability
Build and manage microservices-based architecture
Integrate messaging systems such as Kafka for real-time data processing
Work with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA
Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Ensure application security, scalability, and performance

Required Skills & Experience

10 15 years of overall IT experience with strong backend development expertise
Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js
Strong experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems
Proficiency in Docker and containerization
Experience with Kubernetes for orchestration
Solid understanding of microservices architecture
Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
Strong problem-solving and coding skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in retail domain is a plus
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills
