The Boeing Company is seeking a System Data Integration and C# Full Stack Developer (Mid-Level or Senior) to join our Manufacturing Quality Information Technology Team in Renton, WA; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; or North Charleston, SC.

This individual will bring relevant and practical software engineering experience from previous roles to their new position in support of system data integrations and software development and maintenance.

The position will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable data integrations across multiple applications and platforms. This role includes ownership for integration architecture, operational monitoring, security, compliance, and technical debt. The position will also be responsible for full stack development and maintenance of multiple existing Manufacturing Quality Enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, initiates improvements and innovations, demonstrates adaptability, executes organizational strategy, and has a strong interest in learning new technologies and the Boeing Manufacturing Quality business processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain system data integrations
  • Design and develop data integration solutions between cloud and on-prem systems
  • Build and maintain Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) pipelines using best-practice patterns for performance and reliability
  • Author and optimize SQL (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server) and data transformation code
  • Implement Python-based data processing, orchestration, and automation
  • Ensure integrations meet security and compliance requirements (data encryption, masking, access controls, auditability)
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks for data flows and jobs
  • Maintain multiple software systems
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain multiple C# applications
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain multiple applications in other development languages and technologies, learning them as needed
  • Engage in system security compliance
  • Engage in technical debt remediation
  • Engage in system Change and Configuration Management
  • Work across the enterprise to resolve software and infrastructure issues
  • Support regulatory compliance and quality audits
  • Understand system functionality and infrastructure, business operation processes, and new technologies and methodologies
  • Execute Boeing Information Technology (IT) Strategies & Objectives including Tanzu to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud migration, Azure DevOps, Scaled Agile Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Code Assistant Software Engineering, and Automation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in full stack development
  • 5+ years of experience in the following areas - Monitoring & Administration, API Manager & Portal, Application Integration & Application Integration Console, and Data Integration
  • 5+ years of experience with database technologies using SQL or PL/SQL
  • 5+ years of experience with C#.Net or have extensive experience building application using C# code, or experience using .NET framework or object-oriented programming
  • 3+ years of experience programming using python
  • 3+ years of experience with Gitlab and Tanzu
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Technologies
  • 1+ years of experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) software development
  • Experience working with agile teams and agile software development

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Experience and proficiency in multi-system data integrations
  • Experience and proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, GitLab
  • Experience and proficiency in Coverity and NetSparker
  • Experience with effective, comprehensive communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience maintaining a productive sense of urgency, and making progress on multiple priorities, and deliverables as planned
  • Experience collaborating with teammates, business partners, and Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure and Operation partners
  • Experience initiating improvements and innovations, demonstrating adaptability, and executing organizational transformation
  • Experience with continuous technical and business operations professional development

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $107,950 - $156,400

Summary pay range for Senior: $132,600 - $192,050
