responsibilities:
- Design and deploy reliable synthetic data generation workflows and scalable data pipelines.
- Architect efficient data models, storage solutions, and retrieval mechanisms for large-scale datasets.
- Create automated validation frameworks and quantitative checks to profile system performance and maintain high data quality.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (design, product, research) to translate evolving requirements into robust backend features.
qualifications:
5+ years of software or data engineering experience using languages like Python, Spring Boot, or .NET.
Extensive experience building, scaling, and operating cloud-based data pipelines and ETL workflows.
Practical experience working with LLMs, AI APIs, and designing output evaluation or quality frameworks.
Solid understanding of distributed systems, orchestration, and large-scale data storage/retrieval patterns.
Willingness to maintain core overlapping hours with US Pacific Time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Hands-on experience with Python-based data engineering tools, Apache Spark, or Apache Kafka.
Proven track record of developing automated testing and data quality profiling suites.
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working independently in established codebases.
