We are seeking a highly skilled GIS IT Architect to lead the design, modernization, and integration of enterprise GIS platforms supporting large-scale utility operations. This role requires deep hands-on expertise with ESRI technologies, strong utility or energy domain experience, and the ability to architect and guide complex GIS transformations in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect, design, and support enterprise GIS solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcFM, and ArcSDE
• Lead Utility Network and Geometric Network migrations, including data modeling and conversion
• Design, publish, and maintain geocoding and reverse geocoding services using ArcGIS Enterprise and REST APIs
• Integrate GIS platforms with external systems such as WMS, OMS, and WMIS
• Oversee ArcGIS Enterprise installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and security
• Provide technical leadership to GIS developers, analysts, and database teams
• Support GIS DevOps automation and Agile/Scrum delivery practices
• Enable mobile, web, and desktop GIS solutions for utility field and enterprise users
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of enterprise GIS architecture experience, preferably in utilities or energy
• Expert knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Suite, ArcFM, Utility Network, and ArcGIS REST APIs
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, and JavaScript
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server geodatabases
• Proven ability to lead large-scale GIS modernization initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
