Position Title: .NET MAUI Mobile Developer
Location: Hybrid Stamford CT
Duration: 6+ months
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled .NET MAUI Mobile Developer to design and build high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for Android, iOS, and Windows. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in C#/.NET, MVVM architecture, and modern mobile development practices, along with a forward-thinking mindset to leverage AI-assisted development tools for improving productivity and code quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using .NET MAUI for Android, iOS, and Windows platforms.
Implement clean, scalable, and maintainable architecture using MVVM patterns.
Develop intuitive and responsive UI using XAML.
Integrate RESTful APIs, manage local data storage (SQLite), and handle background/foreground processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and maintain source control using Git.
Support and execute migration efforts from Xamarin to .NET MAUI.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Deep expertise in C#/.NET and modern language features.
Hands-on experience with .NET MAUI and/or Xamarin.
Strong experience with MVVM architecture.
Proficiency in XAML UI design.
Experience integrating REST APIs and working with local databases such as SQLite.
Strong experience with Git and understanding of CI/CD fundamentals.
AI & Modern Development Mindset:
Experience or strong willingness to use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) for coding, debugging, unit testing, and documentation.
Ability to effectively leverage AI to accelerate development while ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability.
Open to adopting AI-driven engineering practices as part of the software development lifecycle.
