Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Developer (Python/.NET) Rates Vital Space/Titanium in NYC, NY.
Overview:
A financial services organization is seeking a Senior Python/.NET Developer to build and enhance cloud-based applications supporting risk, P&L, and fixed income technology. This is a hands-on development role focused on creating scalable solutions using Python, .NET Core, AWS, APIs, and microservices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions
* Build backend services and APIs using Python and .NET/.NET Core
* Contribute to application architecture and technical design
* Develop scalable, cloud-based solutions using modern engineering practices
* Partner with quantitative and technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Maintain strong standards around testing, code management, CI/CD, and documentation
* Participate in Agile software development
REQUIREMENTS:
* Advanced Python development experience
* Strong .NET/.NET Core development skills
* Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and cloud computing
* Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming
* Hands-on Docker/containerization experience
* Experience building REST APIs, microservices, or service-oriented architectures
* Experience with Git and CI/CD tools
* Strong software engineering and Agile development background
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
* AWS experience
* Fixed Income, Capital Markets, Risk, or P&L technology experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
