Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to support a large-scale SAP implementation program. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and delivering SAP TM solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams across logistics, procurement, and finance.

The ideal candidate is a self-directed professional who can drive solution delivery, troubleshoot complex integration issues, and ensure successful implementation of transportation management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Transportation Management (TM) solutions.
• Translate business transportation and logistics requirements into SAP TM functional solutions.
• Configure and support core TM processes including freight planning, order management, carrier selection, charge calculation, and settlement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP modules including SD, MM, EWM, and FI to support end-to-end logistics processes.
• Lead functional workshops and guide business stakeholders through solution design and best practices.
• Support integration with external logistics systems, including EDI, carrier networks, and freight settlement systems.
• Identify and resolve functional and integration defects during testing cycles.
• Support integration testing, UAT, and cutover planning activities.
• Provide clear documentation including functional specifications and configuration guides.
• Work independently while coordinating with the broader project team to meet program timelines.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing SAP Transportation Management (TM).
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, freight execution, and settlement processes.
• Experience integrating SAP TM with SD, MM, EWM, and FI modules.
• Experience supporting end-to-end logistics process design.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in complex implementation environments.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.
• Experience with freight cost management and carrier settlement.
• Previous experience in large SAP transformation or implementation programs.
• Familiarity with logistics industry best practices.
