Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP/QM Consultant to support implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Quality Management processes. This role will focus on QM integration with production and procurement processes, business analysis, testing, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration

• Configure SAP QM modules, including:

  • Inspection Plans

  • Quality Notifications

  • Quality Certificates

• Set up Master Data:

  • MICs (Master Inspection Characteristics)

  • Inspection Methods

  • Sampling Procedures

• Integrate QM with:

  • MM (Procurement)

  • PP (Production)

  • PM (Plant Maintenance)

Process Optimization

• Design and implement quality control processes:

  • Incoming Inspections

  • In-Process Inspections

  • Final Inspections

• Automate quality workflows using:

  • SAP QM-PP/DS

  • S/4HANA Quality Management

Business Analysis & Solution Delivery

• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements

• Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements

• Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops

• Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions

• Design, customize, configure, and test the module

• Develop functional designs, test cases, and document results

• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment

• Plan and execute cutover and data migration activities

• Manage pre- and post-go-live support

• Handle changes and emergency transports for high-priority issues

Stakeholder & Project Support

• Act as liaison between business and technical teams

• Coordinate with client IT teams, business stakeholders, and internal stakeholders

• Support Agile development methodology

• Support project management activities including:

  • Scope Management

  • Time Management

  • Risk Management

  • Cost Management

  • Procurement Management

  • Reporting

  • Sprint Planning

• Provide ad-hoc training and ongoing user support

• Mentor junior team members as required

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of SAP experience

• Strong expertise in SAP ERP Quality Management (QM)

• Experience in E2E business process flow design

• Experience in requirement gathering and gap analysis

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• Experience supporting UAT, training, and go-live activities

• Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution skills

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Strong focus on customer satisfaction

• Ability to work independently and as a strong team player
