The Work

As a Cyber Tools Specialist supporting the Lockheed Martin RMS Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security posture of critical systems. We are currently integrating Tanium and are looking for the right individual to assist with that development and integration effort. Other responsibilities will include:

Integrating, configuring, and automating the installation of Tanium with the existing set of Cyber Tools on the C2BMC system as a replacement for our existing BigFix Server
Verifying Tanium meets contractual requirements
Documenting the installation and delivering installation instructions to deploy Tanium to the C2BMC Enterprise
Installing, deploying, and unit testing other Cyber Tools such as ACAS, ArcSight, Delinea, ESS, Axway Repeater, and Responder for Windows MFA in National Team (NT) labs, the C2BMC Testbed (CTB), and Operations
Developing and verifying installation instructions for Cyber Tools and Vendor Patches
Applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Managing and addressing any Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs) related to the Cyber Tools
Collaborating with local Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) to ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations
Working with various C2BMC teams to ensure compatibility and seamless integration of Cyber Tools within the larger system
Documenting and verifying installation and configuration steps for the labs and operations deliveries
Providing feedback to Cyber Leadership and engineers to improve the cybersecurity tools and processes

Who You Are

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Tools Specialist with a background in Cyber Engineering who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

You will possess:

DoDI 8140 IAT-Level II certification (e.g., GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) at start
5+ years of professional experience, typically at a mid-career level
5+ years hands-on Tanium administration in enterprise environments
Proven experience with integration and maintenance of Cyber Tools such as Elastic Stack, ACAS, ArcSight, BigFix, Delinea, ESS, Axway Repeater, Responder for Windows MFA, and ICAP
A strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration
Proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving

Basic Qualifications

DoDI 8140 IAT-Level II certification (e.g., GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) at start.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Hands on experience with Tanium administration in enterprise environments
5+ years relevant professional cybersecurity experience

Desired skills

5+ years hands-on Tanium administration in enterprise environments
Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA) or Tanium Certified Engineer (TCE) certifications
Experience with Tanium in air-gapped or classified environments.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $142,000 - $246,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
