Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical foundation and Agile leadership background to lead cross-functional application development initiatives from concept through implementation. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, drives delivery excellence, and partners effectively with executive leadership and high-performing technical teams.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of Agile project management expertise, technical acumen (Java/SQL/UNIX), and strong stakeholder communication skills to ensure successful delivery of enterprise-scale solutions.

Key Responsibilities:>
Lead full project lifecycle delivery from requirements definition through design, development, testing, and production implementation
Define project scope, milestones, phases, deliverables, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure alignment across development and QA teams
Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to application development teams
Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives
Oversee work management processes using tools such as VersionOne (or similar Agile tools)
Support organizational change management initiatives and drive process improvements
Evaluate technical design options, present pros/cons, and recommend strategic solutions
Ensure quality, compliance, and documentation standards, including possible SOX documentation support
Communicate project health, risks, and progress clearly at all organizational levels
Required Skills/Education:
5+ years of experience in Project Management within application development environments
Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
Experience using work management tools such as VersionOne, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
Working knowledge (2+ years) of one or more:
Java
UNIX
SQL
Oracle Database
Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional technical teams
Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills
Experience backing decisions with research, articulating multiple solution paths, and providing clear recommendations
Experience with process improvement and change management initiatives
Exposure to SOX documentation or compliance processes is a plus
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
