We’re recruiting for a boutique technology consulting firm in McLean looking for someone with strong professional macOS support experience who wants to keep growing into enterprise Apple administration, networking, automation, and systems support.
This is more than a ticket-closing help desk role. You’ll have real ownership of the Apple environment, work directly with engineers, consultants and company leadership, and have the opportunity to deepen your technical skills.
What You’ll Do
- Support and troubleshoot Macs, iPhones and iPads
- Deploy, configure, upgrade and migrate Mac computers
- Manage Apple devices through an enterprise MDM platform such as Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle, Intune, Addigy or similar
- Support Apple Business Manager and device provisioning
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, printers and connectivity issues
- Manage software installation, updates, accounts, permissions and security
- Support executives and technical users with excellent customer service
- Research unfamiliar problems and figure them out
- Help automate repetitive tasks and improve IT workflows
What We’re Looking For
- Professional experience supporting macOS in a business environment
- Experience with at least one enterprise Apple MDM platform
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic networking and connectivity issues
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Curious, resourceful and able to work independently
- Interest in continuing to learn scripting, automation, networking and systems administration
Experience with Bash, Python, AppleScript, shell scripting or automation is helpful, but not required.
