Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Temenos Journey Manager (TJM) Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise digital onboarding solutions within the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Temenos Journey Manager, Journey SDK, Java, Groovy, REST APIs, and Temenos Integration Framework (TIF). This role involves developing onboarding journeys, integrating enterprise applications, implementing backend services, supporting production environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and enhance digital onboarding applications using Temenos Journey Manager (TJM).
  • Develop onboarding forms, workflows, journey orchestration, reusable components, and business processes aligned with business requirements.
  • Build backend services, business rules, and platform extensions using Java and Groovy within the Journey SDK framework.
  • Design and implement RESTful API integrations with internal and external enterprise applications.
  • Develop and maintain secure integrations using Temenos Integration Framework (TIF) and middleware technologies.
  • Create service definitions, integration mappings, reusable components, and data flow designs for onboarding solutions.
  • Implement application logging, monitoring, diagnostics, exception handling, and transaction performance monitoring.
  • Develop technical documentation including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, operational runbooks, support documentation, and integration specifications.
  • Participate in packaging, deployment, environment promotion, and release management across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, defect analysis, and production support activities.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Follow coding standards, security best practices, governance policies, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Analyze production issues, review application logs, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline implementation using Azure DevOps and Git-based version control.
  • Participate in sprint planning, technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in application development, integration engineering, or enterprise software development.
  • Hands-on experience developing applications using Temenos Journey Manager (TJM).
  • Strong expertise with Journey SDK, including application development, packaging, deployment, and environment promotion.
  • Strong programming experience with Java and Groovy.
  • Experience building backend services, business rules, and platform extensions.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, Web Services, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications using Temenos Integration Framework (TIF).
  • Experience using IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse IDE.
  • Hands-on experience with Maven or Ant build tools.
  • Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and supporting end-to-end testing.
  • Strong understanding of Git-based source control and version management.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support experience.
  • Experience with application logging, monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum development environments.
