IT Capacity Manager

We are looking for an IT Capacity Manager to monitor and manage IT infrastructure capacity, ensure optimal utilization of resources, and support capacity planning activities. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of IT infrastructure, system performance, resource utilization, and capacity management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor IT infrastructure resources, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments.

• Track resource utilization, system performance, and capacity trends.

• Assist with IT capacity planning and forecasting based on business requirements.

• Identify potential capacity issues and recommend improvements.

• Prepare capacity reports, dashboards, and utilization metrics.

• Work with infrastructure, cloud, database, and application teams to ensure sufficient IT resources.

• Support performance monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting activities.

• Maintain capacity management documentation and reports.

• Help ensure IT systems meet availability, performance, and business requirements.

• Participate in capacity reviews and recommend resource optimization opportunities.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT operations.

• Understanding of capacity planning, resource utilization, and performance monitoring.

• Familiarity with servers, storage, networks, databases, and cloud platforms.

• Basic knowledge of Excel, reporting, and data analysis.

• Understanding of incident management and troubleshooting.

• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to coordinate with technical teams and prepare reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, capacity planning, or monitoring is preferred.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, Grafana, or similar tools is an advantage.
