Role Overview
This position supports the development of content creation and delivery for digital messaging platform capabilities. The role involves partnering with cross-enterprise platforms to understand messaging needs, prioritizing them, and developing a messaging strategy. You will execute the delivery of messaging that aligns with the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap of Digital Messaging and support a product roadmap alongside a team of product owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the leadership team to understand needs and deliver on the vision and goals for digital messaging.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog to deliver on business vision and priorities.
- Ensure customer-driven design addressing user pain points, market needs, and usability test results.
- Execute the development process with technical teams, internal partners, and external vendors, including writing business requirements and user stories.
- Resolve problems and partner with peers and technical teams to provide solutions.
- Champion Agile methodologies, participating in the product owner role in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization.
- Work cross-functionally with technical, product, design, business, and compliance counterparts.
- Create awareness and engagement plans for new capabilities and provide updates to management.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience: 4+ years of digital product owner experience is required. Experience with data analytics and turning data into insights is necessary. A strong background in developing or leading digital platforms is also required.
Technical Skills: An understanding of Sales Force Market Cloud is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- An MBA is preferred.
- Prior experience as an Agile Product Owner or leading scrum teams is preferred.
- A good understanding of or experience with financial services regulations is a plus.
