Cyber Security Analyst (1-3 Years Experience)

About the Role
AaraTech Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of organizational systems and data. This role supports security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response activities in a structured and compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools
Identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents
Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts
Conduct log analysis and threat detection activities
Support implementation of security controls and policies
Assist in security audits and compliance activities
Document incidents, findings, and security reports
Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
Support user security awareness initiatives
Required Qualifications
13 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or related IT role
Knowledge of network security concepts (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, TCP/IP)
Familiarity with security monitoring tools (SIEM, Endpoint Protection, Antivirus)
Basic understanding of vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, etc.)
Understanding of common cyber threats (Phishing, Malware, Ransomware, SQL Injection)
Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
