Summary

Required Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of SMP/E, software upgrades, and maintenance.
Expertise in CICS parameters and performance tuning in CICSPlex environments.
Experience with CICS SMF records and CICS Performance Analyzer.
Hands-on experience with CICSPlex SM implementation and customization.
Proficiency in CICS monitoring tools (e.g., Sysview for CICS).
Ability to perform problem determination, debugging, and dump analysis.
Working knowledge of COBOL to support application teams.
Experience with Mainframe WebSphere MQ.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Assembler, COBOL, REXX, and CICS Exits.
Experience supporting web applications in CICS TS V6.x.
Understanding of z/OS facilities (APF, Linklist, VSAM, LPA, RLS, Coupling Facility).
Experience with CICS Configuration Manager and CICS Explorer.
Familiarity with CICS REST services.
Prior application development experience is a plus.
