Job Summary

We are looking for an Entry-Level Databricks Developer to support data engineering and analytics initiatives using Databricks and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Python, SQL, and data processing concepts.

Responsibilities

Develop and support data pipelines using Databricks.
Write Python, PySpark, and SQL code for data processing and transformation.
Work with Delta Lake and structured/unstructured datasets.
Assist with ETL/ELT development and data validation.
Troubleshoot data pipeline and processing issues.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams.
Follow development standards and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

2+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Databricks, or related technologies, including internships or academic projects.
Basic knowledge of Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
Understanding of ETL/ELT and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with relational databases and data structures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to Delta Lake and Databricks notebooks.
Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Airflow, or similar data pipeline tools.
Exposure to Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
