Title : Robotics Software Engineer (Oil & Gas)
Location : Houston, TX (Onsite)
Rate : $53/hr on W2
Employment Type : W2 Position
· 6–7 years of strong experience in Angular development.
· Hands-on experience with Actin and Energid robotic control software.
· Strong programming knowledge in Python, C++, and ROS.
· Experience with ROS Industrial 2.0, RViz, and MoveIt.
· Good understanding of robotics control systems, kinematics, and embedded systems.
· Familiarity with industrial sensors such as LiDAR, ultrasonic, inductive proximity, and pressure sensors.
· Design and develop robotic solutions for oil & gas drilling and pipe-handling applications.
· Develop real-time control, telemetry, and remote operation software for robotic platforms.
· Integrate sensors and autonomous control systems for robotic operations.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams for prototyping, testing, and deployment.
· Conduct field trials and validation testing in live and simulated environments.
· Analyze and optimize robotic system performance for safety, reliability, and efficiency.
· Ensure compliance with industry safety and environmental standards.
· Document engineering processes, system configurations, and test results.
· Willingness to travel and work at remote field locations as needed.
