Duties: Job Summary
The Security Training and Resources (STAR) Team is responsible for creating and managing assets that describe the client security program, the controls in place to protect the client cloud, and security best practices for customers, employees, and partners. The Content Strategist will orchestrate the STAR Teams entire security content ecosystem, optimize it for AI use, and ensure that messaging remains consistent across all security assets. This role focuses on how content connects for example, ensuring a white paper update cascades appropriately into training materials and customer-facing delivery channels while minimizing maintenance overhead and maximizing effectiveness. The successful candidate will actively leverage AI tools in their daily work and design workflows that enable content creators to work more effectively. Rather than producing content directly, this role brings together Technical Writers, Instructional Designers, Knowledge Managers, and Editors to implement strategic content decisions advising, prioritizing, connecting dots, and building the systems that make the content ecosystem more effective and efficient. What you get to do in this role Support the Security Training and Resources team in their mission to provide quality, strategically relevant security content to equip client partners, employees, and customers.
AI Ecosystem & Knowledge Architecture
Design, implement, and maintain the knowledge ecosystem optimized for AI usage, including minimizing duplication and ensuring consistent messaging, taxonomy, and tagging strategies. Ensure ecosystem efficiency and consistency so content can be reliably managed without requiring a subject matter expert to review every change to every asset.
Content Flow & Consistency
Design and maintain systems for how content updates cascade across formats (white papers, training, Q&A, videos, customer-facing delivery channels). Map dependencies between content types so the team understands downstream impacts before making changes. Ensure messaging consistency across 50+ security assets and ~600 Q&A pairs, resolve conflicts and proactively identify areas of opportunity. Serve as the single point of accountability for strategic consistency and AI optimization across the entire STAR Team security content portfolio. Identify redundancies, consolidation opportunities, and content that can be retired to reduce maintenance burden. Design systems that minimize rework when source information changes.
Analytics & Effectiveness
Develop metrics to measure content effectiveness and business impact. Produce regular reporting on content health across the security portfolio. Use data to recommend where the team should invest or divest content resources. Identify content gaps and metrics anomalies; recommend solutions.
SME Enablement
Build and maintain AI toolkits, prompt libraries, templates, and quality standards that enable subject matter experts to self-serve effectively while maintaining quality. Create enablement infrastructure that lets SMEs produce appropriate quality content quickly with clear escalation paths. Own, maintain, improve, and document SME enablement processes.
Partnership & Delivery Channels
Work closely with Technical Writers, Instructional Designers, Knowledge Managers, and Editors to implement strategic recommendations. Provide prioritization guidance, connect cross-functional dots, and ensure individual content decisions align with ecosystem-level strategy. Oversee user-facing content delivery channels to ensure they are current, navigable, and effective. Make recommendations for improvements to content discoverability and presentation.
Skills: Basic Qualifications
7+ years in content strategy, content operations, knowledge management, or a similar role demonstrating ecosystem-level thinking. Demonstrated experience using AI tools in content workflows and to build enablement resources. Experience with analytics and business intelligence tools; ability to design metrics frameworks that translate data into actionable recommendations and prove value. Proven ability to influence without authority and achieve results by working through content creators, subject matter experts, and stakeholders rather than by direct execution. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, information science, business, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience considered). Industry experience relevant to cloud security, compliance, or other technical field. Experience managing content and knowledge delivery platforms.
To be successful in this role, you will be:
A systems strategist who sees how individual assets connect across the content ecosystem, thinks in terms of dependencies and flows, and understands downstream impacts of changes. Process-minded with a drive to design workflows, improve efficiency, reduce friction, and eliminate waste. A strong influencer who builds trust, communicates clearly, navigates competing priorities, and drives results through others without direct authority. Data-driven, basing recommendations on evidence and translating analytics into actionable insights for the team, and to be able to measure the impact of improvements. Proactive, identifying issues and opportunities before they escalate. Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by the opportunity to help define a new function. An excellent communicator who fosters positive relationships across a global, remote team. Flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
