Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Engineer to provide production support for the Automation Anywhere 360 (A360) platform, Quickbase applications, and other enterprise automation solutions. The successful candidate will monitor business-critical environments, troubleshoot complex operational issues, restore services quickly, and ensure platform stability and availability.
The candidate should also have practical experience developing and optimizing prompts using AI assistants such as Microsoft Copilot or Anthropic Claude.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end production support for the Automation Anywhere 360 platform and deployed RPA bots.
- Monitor A360 Control Room, Bot Runners, bot schedules, queues, credentials, licenses, workloads, and system integrations.
- Troubleshoot bot failures, platform issues, job interruptions, access problems, application changes, and infrastructure dependencies.
- Support and troubleshoot Quickbase applications, workflows, integrations, reports, dashboards, and user-access issues.
- Respond to production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and restore services within established SLAs.
- Participate in rotational on-call coverage and provide 24/7 support for critical incidents.
- Coordinate incident resolution with application, infrastructure, database, network, security, automation, and vendor teams.
- Support platform upgrades, deployments, patches, releases, disaster recovery, and production-readiness activities.
- Create and maintain monitoring alerts, operational dashboards, runbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge-base documentation.
- Develop scripts and automation solutions to reduce recurring incidents and manual operational effort.
- Use Microsoft Copilot or Claude to create, test, refine, and document effective prompts supporting operational analysis, troubleshooting, documentation, and process automation.
- Follow incident, problem, change, release, and service-management processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in application operations, production support, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience supporting Automation Anywhere 360 in an enterprise production environment.
- Experience with A360 Control Room administration, bot deployment, scheduling, monitoring, credential management, access controls, and bot-failure resolution.
- Working knowledge of Quickbase application support, administration, workflows, reporting, and integrations.
- Hands-on prompt-engineering experience with Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or comparable generative AI tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, APIs, integrations, databases, servers, networks, and automation workflows.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring, logging, alerting, and IT service-management tools.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting, SQL, or similar technologies.
- Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and release-management practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and respond calmly and effectively to high-priority production incidents.
- Strong communication, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Automation Anywhere professional certification.
- Experience supporting large healthcare, pharmacy, retail, or other regulated enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps/CI/CD pipelines, APIs, databases, security controls, and job-scheduling technologies.
- Experience applying generative AI safely within enterprise operational-support processes.
