Responsibilities of Position:
Creation and maintenance of all technical drawings.
Assist in and perform calculations, design, and drawings for new equipment and process improvement.
Project management.
Analyze data and propose preventative and predictive tasks to improve reliability and operation.
Submit ideas to support continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Follow all procedures administered by safety and quality.
Scope of Position:
Process Engineer for Warehouse/Kitting operations
Process Engineer support for Assembly operations
Process Engineer support for Special Process operations

Candidate skills & requirements
Physical/Environmental Scope of Position:
The physical ability to perform manual labor requiring climbing, balancing, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds regularly.
The physical ability to work in/near electro-magnetic fields created by high temperature induction furnaces, work in confined spaces and wear a respirator and/or self-contained breathing apparatus.
The worker is subject to exposure to noise, vibration, atmospheric conditions, oils and other related industrial hazards.
Vocal communication, hearing and visual acuity are required for safety, direction and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment.
Key Success Factors:
Maintain complete and accurate documentation and drawings for Safran Landing Systems.
Meet Engineering goals relating to cost, delivery and quality as established by the company.
Plan the layout and utility requirements to maximize operations and growth within the current Safran Landing Systems property.
Attributes/Skills Required:
The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.

Good organization skills - the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
The ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels of education and experience.

Experience/Education Required:
Bachelor of Science degree in related engineering field.
Three (3) to five (5) years experience in related manufacturing field.
Experience or training in statistical design of experiments and/or statistical analysis of experimental results.
