Job Description 
 
Core Responsibilities
 
Tableau Cloud Administration
  • Administer Tableau Cloud sites, projects, users, groups, permissions, and security.
  • Support Tableau environments across Development, Test, and Production.
  • Monitor platform health, scheduled jobs, extract refreshes, report subscriptions, and related services.
  • Troubleshoot Tableau performance, connectivity, reporting, access, and publishing issues.
  • Deploy and promote reports across environments.
  • Provide support to report developers, analysts, and business users.
  • Manage user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and routine access administration.
Reporting and Data Support
  • Support enterprise reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Investigate reporting-data issues and complete data-validation activities.
  • Analyze data quality problems and identify root causes.
  • Assist with SQL and SOQL troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Monitor database connectivity, query performance, data refreshes, and reporting-related processes.
Azure SQL and ADF Support
  • Support and troubleshoot Azure SQL Database environments used for enterprise reporting.
  • Monitor and support Azure Data Factory pipelines that load Salesforce and other source-system data into Azure SQL Database.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures, data-load errors, refresh issues, and data-quality defects.
  • Collaborate with development and integration teams during incidents, releases, and deployments.
Integration Support
  • Support MuleSoft Runtime Fabric environments and integrations that affect reporting platforms.
  • Assist with root-cause analysis for integration, database, data-pipeline, and reporting issues.
  • Escalate Salesforce-related issues as appropriate.
Team Collaboration and Documentation
  • Work through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Create and maintain required technical documentation.
  • Partner with the Salesforce Architect to establish and follow best practices.
  • Provide input to management on architecture and design decisions, estimates, and resource planning.
  • Mentor, guide, and train less-experienced team members.
 
Required Qualifications
 
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant professional experience and demonstrate strong technical judgment, independence, creativity, and leadership capability.
