Summary
Position: Senior Solutions Architect (Life Sciences)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect with mandatory Life Sciences domain expertise to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performing integration architectures while collaborating with cross-functional business and technology teams.
This role requires strong expertise in enterprise integration, API and microservices architecture, modern data platforms such as Snowflake, and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements within the Life Sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities
-
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide integration solutions across multiple business applications and platforms.

Define enterprise integration strategies, architecture standards, reusable patterns, and best practices aligned with business objectives.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to translate functional and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Design and drive API-led, event-driven, and microservices-based integration architectures.

Provide architectural oversight throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring scalability, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Lead the integration of enterprise data platforms, including Snowflake, with internal and external systems.

Evaluate, recommend, and implement enterprise integration platforms and frameworks such as xFly or equivalent technologies.

Ensure compliance with Life Sciences industry regulations and standards, including GxP, HIPAA (where applicable), and other applicable compliance requirements.

Provide technical leadership, architectural governance, and mentorship to development and integration teams.

Drive solution reviews, architecture governance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges and support strategic digital transformation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Integration Architect.

Proven experience delivering enterprise integration solutions within the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry.

Strong understanding of API Management, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.

Hands-on experience with Snowflake and enterprise data integration.

Experience working in regulated environments with GxP and HIPAA compliance.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Experience leading distributed technical teams in Agile environments.
