Top Requirements:5+ years of Agile/Scrum Master experience in software engineering delivery environmentsStrong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing Agile delivery lifecyclesExperience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time)Plusses:Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)Experience in enterprise environments (cloud, DevOps, data platforms)Technical background (engineering, QA, or development)Experience managing cross-team dependencies and scaled Agile environmentsStrong stakeholder communication and reporting skillsJob Summary:In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Drive Agile delivery execution and ensure adherence to Scrum principles and frameworks
- Manage sprint progress, track goals, and monitor overall delivery health
- Support backlog refinement and work closely with Product Owners on prioritization
- Monitor Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) to improve predictability and performance
- Identify and remove blockers, risks, and dependencies across teams
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on delivery objectives
- Support technical teams with planning, estimation, and understanding dependencies
- Assist in managing technical debt, release risks, and infrastructure challenges
- Provide regular reporting to stakeholders and leadership on progress and risks
- Protect teams from scope creep, external disruptions, and unplanned work
- Coach teams on Agile best practices, self-organization, and continuous improvement
- Use Jira, Confluence, and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint) to manage delivery workflows
- Drive retrospective outcomes and implement process improvement initiatives
