Job Description

Sr. ETL Software Tester for project for our client in Austin, Texas. Must be proficient in both Manual and Automation testing equally and be able to work with or both depending on project requirements.

Core skills required

Ideal candidate should have 8+ years of hands-on experience testing .Net-based windows and web applications which deal with complex business logic. Experience with SSRS reports testing and ETL testing SSIS/Talend

Experience testing SSRS reports, writing complex SQL queries, and working in Agile methodologies is preferred.

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in business analysis along with functional testing and can document requirements if needed. Any experience in finance, investments, and pension systems is an added plus.

Candidate should have good communication skills, be a fast learner and work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience:

8+ years of manual testing experience on web applications

6+ years of hands-on automation experience (writing scripts from scratch)

Testing web services using SoapUI/Postman/REST

Experience writing SQL and querying relational databases

Experience with automation tools (UFT/Selenium)

Experience with SSRS reports testing

Experience with ETL testing SSIS/Talend

Knowledge of VB Scripting

Experience in Agile Methodology

Experience with Jira
