Title: Adobe AEM Developer (ONLY W2)
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of extension)
Location: Columbia, SC, 29210 (Onsite from Day 1)
Project Scope
The role involves supporting forms and workflow development using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The contractor will serve as a systems software programmer responsible for maintaining data stability and server services through monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of server infrastructure. Responsibilities include participation in AEM implementation, development of content models, workflows, templates, and components, system analysis and programming, documentation, configuration of system settings, testing activities, deployment support across environments, and adherence to secure web programming and internal development standards. The position includes shared 24/7 on-call responsibilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in AEM implementation including design, development of content type models, workflows, templates, components, and permissions.
- Analyze existing programs and develop logic for new systems including coding, debugging, and testing.
- Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation.
- Configure system settings, execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing, and create system specifications.
- Assist with application deployment across development, QA, and production environments and support migrations.
- Follow secure web programming practices and adhere to coding standards, automation, and continuous integration guidelines.
- Collaborate with teams and vendors to ensure sound site architecture, performance, reliability, and content delivery.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities
Non-Technical
- Communicate effectively with IT professionals from peer to director level.
- Provide feedback on product issues, enhancements, and new features.
- Demonstrate initiative and self-direction.
- Ask pertinent questions and proactively identify and implement process improvements.
- Manage multiple tasks and provide periodic status updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with peers and management to resolve client issues and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Prioritize issues of varying severity and manage resolution within service levels, maintaining helpdesk data accuracy and updates.
- Provide attentive customer support and respond to service tickets.
Technical
- Troubleshoot issues and recommend technical solutions.
- Develop workarounds and solutions as required.
- Perform testing and analysis of software upgrades and patching.
- Maintain familiarity with current computer and network products.
- Adhere to information security guidelines and promote security awareness.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience with full SDLC.
- 3+ years of experience with Adobe AEM (version 6.4 or higher).
- 3+ years of experience with Adobe PDF Forms and Analytics.
- 4+ years of JavaScript and XML development and coding experience.
- 4+ years of experience with SQL querying.
- 4+ years of experience with change management.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)
- Experience performing Business Analyst responsibilities.
- Scrum Master Certification.
Required Education / Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
