MDM Architect
Location- Dallas TX

Summary: Owns the end-to-end Master Data Management strategy and architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Define the MDM architecture and platform approach (match/merge engine, survivorship rules, golden record strategy) for unifying patient identity across CarePath, New Leaf, and legacy Helix
- Design identity resolution rules specifically addressing known trust gaps: New Leaf refill numbering changes, insurance designation (primary/secondary) breaks, and Helix-to-New Leaf reconciliation failures (two prior audits failed to reconcile)
- Define match/merge logic, survivorship rules, and golden record hierarchy (which source wins for which attribute, by domain)
- Architect the MDM data model (crosswalk/xref tables, golden record schema) that feeds Patient 360 and downstream Gold-layer consumption
- Define exception-handling and stewardship workflows for unresolved/low-confidence matches, in partnership with Data Governance Lead and Data Stewards
- Set data quality thresholds and confidence scoring standards for identity matches, in partnership with DQ Lead
- Provide the MDM design specification that Data SME/Modeler and Data Engineer implement (model + build) into the platform
Skills: MDM tooling/patterns (e.g., Azure Purview MDM capabilities, Profisee, or custom match/merge frameworks), identity resolution algorithms (deterministic/probabilistic matching), healthcare patient identity standards (MPI concepts), data modeling, healthcare data governance, PBM
