Job Description
Jovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a Software Engineer Level 2 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph is required to be considered.

Seeking a reliable engineer capable of implementing containerized application workflows and infrastructure automation using modern DevOps and cloud-native tooling.

Responsibilities

Contributeto the development of deployment pipelines and Helm charts
Collaboratewith backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams to integrate services
Work withKubernetes tooling (Helm, GitOps, etc.) to support scalable deployments
Followteam standards and participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
Implementand test logic to handle common app deployment patterns, secrets, andconfig maps
Supportinternal efforts to standardize and document reusable applicationdeployment templates

Requirements

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph is required to be considered.

Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Core Skills Required

Comfortablecoding in Go, Python, or TypeScript
Familiarwith GitOps workflows and CI/CD tools like ArgoCD or Fleet
Experiencewith Kubernetes manifests, Helm, Docker
Understandsbasic concepts of infrastructure-as-code and Linux system operations
Can debugand troubleshoot in a containerized environment
