Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with deep expertise in Swift
- Strong command of iOS application architecture patterns including structured concurrency, dependency injection, and modern best practices
- Extensive experience with both SwiftUI and UIKit, with the judgment to determine when each is most appropriate
- Proven ability to work with networking layers, asynchronous workflows, local persistence, and real-time data updates
- Deep understanding of performance profiling, debugging techniques, memory management, and instrumenting complex mobile systems
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, navigate ambiguous requirements, and deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced startup environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and cross-functional teams
- Passion for building polished user experiences that drive meaningful behavioral change

- Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), secure device communication protocols, or hardware integrations
- Background working with companion device architectures or IoT platforms

- Track record of technical leadership and mentoring other mobile engineers
